Read this if you want to know what tallsuited.com does with data. Tallsuited publishes Tallsuited, and this page covers collection, use, sharing, and your options.
Our Use of Your Data
Uses are: site operation and security, aggregate traffic analysis so we know what to write next, fulfilment of newsletter subscriptions, and support for advertising where advertising is being served.
On Cookies
How cookies are used here, and how to turn them off, is set out in the Cookie Policy.
-
Where advertising is served, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Children
Tallsuited is not aimed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13, or under 16 where that is the applicable age. We do not knowingly gather information from children, and anything of that kind that reaches us is deleted.
What You Can Ask For
You have rights over your data, and which ones depend on where you are. Common to most: find out what is held, get it corrected, get it deleted, get a copy, push back on a particular use, and stop your data being sold or shared for ads. GDPR applies in the UK and EU; CCPA/CPRA and its equivalents apply across a growing list of US states. Global Privacy Control is honoured. More at State Privacy Notice and Do Not Sell or Share.
Data Collected Here
- Visiting tallsuited.com may generate ordinary technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages opened. Anything you type in yourself, such as an email address for the newsletter or a name against a comment, is collected only because you chose to provide it.
- On the point most relevant to readers interested in Tallsuited — we ask readers not to send us sensitive personal details, and we delete rather than retain anything of that kind that reaches us unprompted.
The Mailing List
Newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in verification. Unsubscribe links appear in all email along with our postal address, removal is instant, and subscriber addresses are not rented, sold, or handed to third parties for their own marketing.
Others in the Chain
We rely on third parties for infrastructure and measurement: a host, a content-delivery layer, potentially an analytics provider, an email service for the newsletter, and advertising partners where advertising is served. Some are processors acting on our instruction; some, particularly advertising and analytics vendors, act as independent controllers under their own terms.
Data Lifespan and Security
Storage is time-limited and purpose-limited. Subscriber and comment data goes when you withdraw it; analytics data expires on schedule. The site is served over HTTPS, access to what we hold is restricted, and safeguards are kept proportionate to the data involved. No safeguard is perfect.
